Between country-wide tensions, a delicate post-civil war political climate, and a deadly terrorist group known as the Infernas Militia hiding in the shadows, Dia soon realizes that she’s going to need help if she intends to survive in the perilous country of Rogstram. This leads her to the Callisters; a family who claims to have known her in the past. With nowhere else to turn, she is forced to place her trust in them, for better or worse. 

Faced with surprise attacks, an unknown past, and an enemy who wants her dead, Dia quickly learns just how dangerous the world of Valkra truly is...

And just how dangerous she can be in return.
